Take part in something exceptional. Our employees are our most valuable asset. We strive to seek out, cultivate, and retain talented individuals. We passionately believe in creating opportunities for our staff.

Our team has been hand-picked to include a diverse range of experiences, personalities and values.

This diversity flourishes in an environment where everyone’s voices are heard and valued, challenges are embraced, and we see each other first and foremost as individuals.

Diversity & inclusion

We’re committed to making Sedatech a great place to work – for everyone.

We’ve collaborated with Tribal Warrior to create Tribal Warrior Services, an initiative dedicated to providing opportunities to Aboriginal Australians and Torres Strait Islanders. Above this, we foster an inclusive work environment to assist all of our employees in striking the right balance between work and personal life.

We are dedicated to creating an environment that sees individuals appreciated, assisted, and respected. Our people feel safe, inspired, and driven to be their best. We embrace all ages, genders, ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations, education, and appearances.

We support the vision of an inclusive construction industry in which women fully participate as active members of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).

What Our Employees Say

Simran Kaur,
Graduate Estimator

“Sedatech's diverse, multicultural, and welcoming atmosphere gave me confidence that I had chosen the right place to begin my career. Sedatech's work culture is highly collaborative and versatile, which has helped me expand my horizons. The training and experience I have acquired has elevated my knowledge and skills in different amplitudes of the construction industry, like estimating, tendering and designing.”

Joshua Kitt,
Graduate Mechanical Engineer

“Sedatech provides a great workplace atmosphere to grow as an engineer and experience all stages of construction. The team encourages young engineers to grow at a rapid pace while in the office and on-site with the client. I was fortunate to work on the design of different data centre projects and see them to completion which is a fulfilling process.”

Jonathan Lawrinson,
Mechanical Engineer

“Since joining the company four years ago, Sedatech has provided the best platform for me to have a distinct, positive impact on high-profile projects, as well as to develop personal and professional skills. The team around me shares a wealth of experience and support which goes a long way in my progression as a Mechanical Engineer.”

Safety

We take responsibility for managing risks and making the right decisions every day for a safe and healthy team.

This begins with a culture that prioritises people, commitment, and well-being. These priorities are tended to by our accredited Health and Safety, Environment, and Quality Control programs. All programs are subject to extensive internal and external audits, as well as our Work Safe program.

Our site teams are motivated to create new and safer ways to do things in order to uphold our safety culture. They are given the authority to take responsibility for ‘below the line’ safety issues on their projects, as well as to engage and consult with contractors and stakeholders on the job site in order to promote a proactive safety culture.
