The Bathurst Correctional Centre will be an upgrade to the existing 660-bed medium- and minimum-security sections for male inmates, providing a further 220-bed with maximum security. A new gatehouse, reception and visits areas, an administration building, and a car park for staff and visitors will also be added to the project.
