Sedatech has set new standards in Greenstar and NABERS heritage projects with the completion of Sydney’s Legion House. Clean, carbon neutral, sustainable, efficient design has achieved a 6 Star Greenstar and NABERS rating for this element of the Grocon flagship Castlereagh St development site. 

Passive radiant chilled beam technology, fabric exposed ductwork and high efficiency chilled water plants make up the innovative system. A unique Syngas gasification plant brings highly efficient renewable energy to the building, recycling waste paper. 

The Sedatech project team installed and commissioned this unique gasification system, including process handling plants, briquette presses and gas distribution systems.

Legion House’s carbon neutral status allows it to operate in “island mode”, completely independent of the mains grid, without compromising on comfort conditions in the commercial space.
